About Us

MS Signs, Inc. was established by Kevin Cherashore and Mo Ladak in 2008 after extensive careers in the sign industry. Their lofty goal was to improve lives and make the world a better place through sharing their skills in the development of superior companies and institutions. This translated to an approach centered on supporting the strategies of elite businesses through close relationships based on trust, education, and transparency. This high level client experience would result in better managed organizations with the confidence to aggressively incorporate signs, branded objects and placemaking in their overall strategy.

We work to facilitate organizational branding by working with our clients, architects, and designers to develop signs, places, and spaces that closely support brand goals. Through strong documentation support, prototype development, and solution proposals we ensure design intent and identity goals are always met.

Only a small number of firms are successful at value based custom architectural fabrication. We have been a  leader in this difficult area by balancing high quality and value through prototyping, cost analysis, and extensive research.

Every one of our projects comes with a highly detailed documentation set that ensure design intent is met, and can serve as guidelines for ongoing project rollouts and expansion.

Our solutions are both value based and customized to your unique needs. We have the ability to handle most custom manufacturing tasks in-house including metal fabrication, printing, painting, powder coating, lighting, and our unique DECS process.

Our expertise in project management is renowned. Most of our team has at least ten years experience in the sign and custom fabrication industry. Our project managers are capable of developing projects from initial review to final implementation and are capable of managing complex placemaking projects that bring together architecture, interiors, lighting, signs, fixtures, and graphics.

We have an outstanding capacity both to handle and coordinate installation tasks and coordinate with all the various building trades. We have extensive equipment to install interior & exterior signs and each project has a site supervisor. We have years of experience working in multiple states and are well versed with unique shipping and regulatory requirements on a national and international level.

MS Signs has continuously provided great customer service by being accessible when needed and performing repairs instead of sign replacements to save our company money. Almost all of our JetBlue signage has been fabricated by MS Signs for the past 10 years.

Augusta Georgia Augusta Georgia

Augusta Georgia

Augusta is a town well renowned for its famous golf tournament. MS Signs has fabricated the wayfinding signs for this storied town, providing their extensive in-house capacity to produce a variety of gateway and directional signs cost effectively. Installation was also handled internally through a close relationship with the city throughout the process.

Candlebrook Candlebrook

Candlebrook properties, partnering with Lubert-Adler partners has bought five student housing properties in Indiana, Kentucky, Georgia and Virginia with the goal of upgrading the experience of students housing to a more demanding generation. Enter MS Signs with a modern approach to the development of identity signs for the complexes. By combining natural materials with modern letters and icons, the signs present an exciting, trendy front to the youth oriented complexes. To create natural materials, but create signs that are easy to maintain MS Signs used Direct Embed coatings for all the sign backgrounds, allowing the extruded and cut letters to practically jump off the sign.

Bethlehem Steel Mill Bethlehem Steel Mill

Bethlehem Steel Mill

MS Signs worked closely with WRT and Bluecadet to develop and fabricate interpretive signs for the innovative mile long floating walkway profiling the history of one of America’s most famous industrial icon. MS Signs worked closed to match the industrial material aesthetic, using Direct Embed coatings with the welded steel signs. The signs were delivered on a tight budget and timeline while perfectly matching the designer intent with prototypes developed throughout the fabrication and installation process.

Yeshiva University Yeshiva University

Yeshiva University

Yeshiva University has had an extensive relationship with MS Signs for the last seven years with interior and exterior sign projects developed for their multiple campuses in New York City. Yeshiva has valued MS Signs’ sensitivity towards installing large identification signs in tight urban environments as well as navigating ADA codes when fabricating their interior wayfinding signs. The university has also relied on MS Signs to sensitively integrate signs into the architectural palette of the campus. Of particular note is the Michael F. Price Center for Genetic and Translational Medicine where MS Signs working with the designer Coco Raynes fabricated beautiful glass signs as part of the facilities expansion program.

Longwood Gardens Longwood Gardens

Longwood Gardens

MS Signs developed a high level collaborative relationship with Longwood Gardens and Gecko Group, the design team for the project. The innovative interpretive garden required close inspection of the dozens of intricate illustrated signs required for the project as well as a high standard of quality for design elements that will be seen by over a million people per year. The project was the first major implementation of the Direct Embed powder coated graphic system, an innovation pioneered by MS Signs.

JFK Health System JFK Health System

JFK Health System

MS Signs has a long relationship with JFK Health, the parent of the JFK Medical Center and MS Signs most recent project for the organization. Working with the architect, the DlGroup, MS Signs developed a complete vocabulary of beautifully crafted illuminated wayfinding and identity signs as well as key public spaces. The combination of elements creates a wonderful sense of place for the small hospital facility.

We challenged MS Signs with an unconventional design and a demanding schedule, and they responded. The signs are beautiful.
